The Story

Bookish Faye Rebinds started in 2024 as an attempt to spruce up my personal bookshelf with some pretty special edition books.

It wasn't until I began posting about them on my "bookstagram" page that I was introduced to the idea of selling these unique editions to fellow readers!

Up until that point in my life, my creative side never had a truly fulfilling outlet. Growing up, I had always felt very creatively inclined, but I never had the passion or self-discipline needed for traditional art, creative writing, making music, etc. (Reading isn't a very lucrative career path, unfortunately!)

I have finally found my artistic passion for book rebinding and unique cover design. The opportunity to create unique pieces of art to share with other passionate readers brings me an incredible amount of joy, and I couldn't be happier than when I am making these books for fellow readers and all my bookish friends!

Meet the Binder

Hi, and welcome to my shop!!

My name is Faye, and I'm a Texas native, but now I live in Colorado with my husband and our 3 cats.

I've been a book lover since I was a child (thanks Scholastic Book Fair!), and if I had to do any ONE thing for the rest of my life, there's no question that I would choose reading.

Now, at 25, I am happy to be pursuing a business that aligns with my creative interests and allows me to express myself artistically through my favorite stories while also bringing joy to other readers!

Who It's For

As a lifelong reader, this shop was started by a book lover, for book lovers!

Even as a child, I prioritized the aesthetics of my bookshelf. (I'm looking at YOU—one mismatched book from my Percy Jackson set that's been irritating me for over a decade!!)

Then with the rise of BookTok came the popularization of custom sprayed edges and readily available special editions. Now readers like us are faced with the daunting task of finding the perfect version of our favorite books to immortalize the story, both in our minds and on the shelves.

But no worries, I am happy to help! All rebinds are limited edition, and custom made by hand. Each special edition book you purchase is a unique and exclusive design. Any of these distinctive covers can serve as a great statement piece on your shelf, a sentimental copy of your favorite story, or a heartfelt gift for someone special!

How It Works

All physical products (rebinds) are made-to-order unless otherwise specified in the item description.

Upon placing your order, I will source necessary materials and provide you with an estimated completion/delivery date.

If any delays or issues arise throughout the processing period, you will be immediately alerted of the issue and any necessary adjustments to the completion/delivery date.

Projects/Endeavors

Since beginning my bookbinding journey, I have had the opportunity to connect with many fellow binders as well as a lot of extremely talented authors. One aspect of starting this business that I truly never anticipated was the opportunity to work with authors on special editions of their own books!

I had the pleasure of working with Lauren O'Brien on a special edition rebind of her debut novel, Tide Bound. She invited me to participate in her Kickstarter campaign for the launch of her debut's sequel, Tide Keeper. This campaign has a specific tier including a rebind of Tide Bound, for which I will fulfill all orders!

I also had the opportunity to work with author Kelsee Warrick on a rebind of her debut novel, Salvation. For this collaboration I made three total copies of the Salvation rebind. One for me to keep, one for the author to keep, and a final rebind to offer as a giveaway to one lucky reader!

My first venture into this business was with my Etsy shop, which I have run successfully for just over a year. My shop shows great order history, consistent customer satisfaction, and positive review feedback. I am excited to continue growing my brand and skills by transitioning to this website!
